  I took my children for a routine checkup and when I got in the chair I was quoted about $8000 for dental work that "urgently" needed to be done. In fact the dentist called me back in her lunch hour to talk me through her proposed treatment plan. I had seen a dentist a year earlier and had no pain, so this struck me as very unusual. I sought a second opinion with another more established dentist in the Illawarra. He told me no work was needed at all and that unnecessary dental work is increasingly common, especially among young dentists building their practice. Beware.

  Our experience with Thirroul Dental Studio has been positive in every possible way. I have had extensive work done by Lizzy to rectify old problems (problems dating back to before we moved to the area), and I could not be happier with the results. Firstly I was absolutely amazed to experience NO PAIN. Yes, no pain! The treatment plan and costs were all explained in transparency at the outset and I have found Lizzy to be focused, deeply passionate & dedicated to my long-term satisfaction with her work. I have since referred my wife to TDS, along with my 2 older children, and they have all received EXCELLENCE in their care. Lizzie & Elaine have established a modest plan for our family that offers solid foundations, not just cheap patchy work. What a relief to find a Dentist that delivers absolute quality workmanship in such a sensitive area of our bodies! Thank you so much!!
